Robin Williams was a funny actor, good comedian and a good father. I have watched many movies he starred in and they were funny. I have seen Mad Dogs, Old Dogs and Mrs Doubtfire. I also watched Night In the Museum. I loved his acting in that movie because he said funny things in the movie. I also liked Robots. It is sad because he was a good comedian and he committed suicide yesterday. He killed himself because he was depressed and there is always a dark side in comedy. I remembered him best in Night At The Museum. His role in that movie was Theodore Roosevelt. He was the guy on the horse every time the moon shines on the Museum. I think Robin Williams was a funny and good actor and dad.
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 11 and my teacher is Mrs Ramkolowan.

Bamzooki Basic Fractions
This game is called Bamzooki Basic Fractions. In this game you have to move the Bamzooki to the correct fractions. If the circle has three parts shaded, there is 1 part that is not shaded so that means that the answer is 3/4. This game was really easy for me but in this game it has a time limit which makes it harder to get points. I would like to learn about more fractions in games like this one.

What I think New Zealand did in the Commonwealth Games
I think that New Zealand did well in the Commonwealth Games because they came 6th with 45 medals. Even though they got less than England and Australia, New Zealand still might come 4th or better in the Olympics or the next Commonwealth Games. New Zealand has a good Shot Putt athlete, Valerie Adams. New Zealand also won many medals in cycling. England may have came first with 174 medals, New Zealand came first in the population. If there is a huge place with many people, you will have less chance of getting a medal but when there is a huge place with small amount of people, you have a chance of getting medal.

Fractions as parts of a set
Today in this game I am learning to find a fraction of a set. In this game, you have to match the word fraction to the shape fraction. If 1/3 is selected you have to try and match it with the drawn fraction. This game was really easy for me because I know these fractions because they are easy fractions. The next fraction game I want t play, must be harder for me so I can get a better knowledge for fractions.
