The Birds Outside Room9

On cloudy mornings, birds would chirp and speak to each other outside of room9.  There are many kinds of birds that chirp and talk to each other.  They are Sparrows, Seagulls and sometimes Parrots but the most birds we see are Pigeons.

Sparrows are those small birds but they fly fast like Usain Bolt.  Sparrows are brown, black and are the goldest birds.  Sparrows have a beak as sharp as sharpened knife.  They are small but they are strong.  They can make nest’s that have strong twigs and strong sticks.  Their feet are small but they are fast.  Sparrows have a name that room 9 call them.  They are called “Arrows”.

Parrots don’t come outside of room 9 but we usually see them on the park.  Parrots are colorful like a rainbow.  They are orange, blue, yellow, red and sometimes green and they are also pink.  Parrots are big and strong sometimes they just don’t want to find food at all.  Parrots are not like the other birds, they might even ride a bike.  These birds have a funny name called “Carrots”.

Seagulls, Seagulls yap all day.  Seagulls are fussy and sometimes hungry.  Seagulls are white and black and sometimes they have a yellow beak.  Seagulls won’t stop yapping because they are birds that yap a lot.  Sometimes Seagulls yap a lot, but sometimes they can rap all day.  Seagulls are good because they have no moods.  They work a lot, sometimes they fuss a lot.
These birds are called “Peagullls”.

Pigeons are nice birds, sometimes they chase mice.  Pigeons are grey and they black.  Sometimes they are white and yellow.  They have nice claws but they have no paws.  Pigeons are nice birds I like them the way they are.  The have a group name called “Sidgeons”.

All the birds a so cool, I might even have them all.  But I can only choose one, so I might even have a son.  I like all birds because it rhymes with sirds.  Sirds is a word I made up, sometimes they might even say sup.

But then the birds have a big enemy.  They are called eagles.  Eagles are the birds worst enemy’s.  Eagles destroyed there nest’s and took all of the food they had.  One boy called Samuel saw the eagles and told his teacher.  The teacher called the bird catchers to catch the eagles.  As they arrived the catchers went up to the eagles and caught them.

When the eagles were caught the Sparrows, Seagulls, Pigeons and the Parrots were flying in joy.  The birds were now safe.  All of the birds flew away to fix their nest’s, to find food and to go back where they came from.  All the birds were so happy.

Then the birds looked in everywhere area to check if there is any eagles because the eagles were their worst enemies.  The eagles were now banned to go to the New Zealand schools.  If they were allowed all the birds will be endangered.  If there is any eagles who came to New Zealand they will be caught by the Bird Catchers.

The Bag That Was Lost

                                                       The Bag That Was Lost

One sunny Monday Sam went outside to tell his friends he just got out of hospital.  When he reached their houses, he knocked on their door and waited for them to come out of the door.  As they were walking to school, they were talking about what happened in the hospital.

When they were eating their lunches Sam heard the bell ring and left his bag near the tree.  In the bag was a medicine, 2 sandwiches, 1 apple and 1 juice bottle.  Sam put his medicine in his bag because every time he get’s tired he cannot breathe properly.  When Sam went back to the big tree Sam was so worried because he lost his bag.

“Oh no my bag is lost” shouted Sam.  Sam went to tell his friends that he has lost his bag.  When it was lunchtime, Sam, Tane and Ben went to find Sam’s bag.  They walked around a big tree and they looked up.

“Thats my bag it’s up on the big tree” yelled Sam.  Sam, Tane and Ben were too small to reach the bag.  So they got help from some of the teachers.  As they called one of the teachers, they were not big enough too.

“Hmm we need a ladder that is tall enough to reach the bag” said Mr. Naidoo.  When they went to the shed there was a ladder that was tall enough to reach the bag.  As they got the ladder and brought it to the big tree, Mr. Naidoo climbed up the ladder and got the bag.

“Heres your bag Sam and try not to lose it again ok” said Mr. Naidoo.

“Ok” said Sam.  So sam reached the front pocket and drank his medicine.  After that Sam, Tane and Ben went on the field to play rugby.  This time Sam left his bag in his class.

The Sledge Problem

One cloudy afternoon, a boy called Paul made a sledge so he could ride down the snowy hill.  On the snowy hill his friends friends were there waiting for him.  His friends were Jack, Marcus and Francis.  They were there because they wanted to go snow skiing.

“Hey Paul,” said Marcus.

“Huh, oh hello Paul,” said Francis.

“Hi Paul,” said Jack

“Are you guys ready to go down that snow hill,” said Paul.

“YES” shouted Marcus, Francis and Jack together.  So they got ready to go down the snowy hill.  Paul looked at their sledges.  Marcus’s sledge had a blue and orange flame on it.  Francis had a red and black race line on it.  Jack had a skeleton man riding a horse on the side of his sledge.  Paul looked at his sledge but there was nothing on the sides.  Paul was sad because he wanted a sledge just like that.  As they raced down the snowy hill, Paul’s sledge was starting to break up.  His sledge was going “Crack, Crack, Crack,” and pieces of his sledge was falling off.
As Paul went further down the hill, the bottom of his sledge came off.  His sledge was finally broken, and the speed of his sledge made him jump up into the sky.

“AHHH HELP ME” yelled Paul.  Paul was yelling for help.  When Paul landed, he was stuck in the snow, in the middle of the snow race.  Paul’s left leg was broken.

“Where is Paul” said Marcus.  As Marcus, Francis and Jack got to the bottom, they heard a faint  voice saying “Help me please”.  Marcus, Francis and Jack were wondering who that was.

“Oh no that is Paul, he is stuck on the middle of the snowy hill” explained Marcus.  So Marcus went to Paul’s house and told his mum and dad.  After Marcus explained what happened to Paul, Marcus and Paul’s mum and dad went to find Paul.

“Paul are you alright” shouted Paul’s mum.  Paul’s dad called a policeman to help him get Paul out of the hole he was stuck in.  Then the policeman called the fire fighters.  As the fire fighters and the policeman came, the firefighters had a tall ladder to reach Paul.  When a fire fighter got near Paul he grabbed Paul and pulled him out of the hole.
Then the firefighter brought Paul down to the ground.  Then Paul and his mum and dad went inside to have a sandwich and some Milo to drink.  After that Paul made a sledge with a small picture of a boy stuck in a hole in the middle of a snowy hill.

“Hey, Paul are you OK? Marcus, Francis and I made a get well soon card” said Jack

“Thanks, you guys are my best friends” said Paul.
