Comprehension Test

This game is a Comprehension Test. In this test you have to read the sentences so you can understand the questions about the story and answer it correctly.  In this game I got 5 out of 5 correct that means that I got all the questions correct.  At the end of the test, your result will show the questions you got correct and the answers you got wrong.  This test only has 5 questions so it shouldn't be hard.  Nextime I play a reading game or test, I want to learn more about asking questions to get a better understanding of the story.  

Indentifying Decimals

This game is called Identifying Decimals.  In this game you have to look at the shaded squares and count them.  Then you have to click on the decimal written underneath the diagram.  In this game I got the 1st question right.  If you get a question wrong, you will see your current result on the side of your screen.  Nextime I play a maths game, I want to learn how to solve problems using division and multiplication.

Different types of teeth

Making pasta at Tamaki College

Today we made pasta at Tamaki College.  At food tech, I had a group.  In my group was only Etai.  The pasta was made with pasta, ham, tomato paste, fried onions and cheese.  Our teacher was called Mrs Tuipulotu.  It was really fun making the pasta.  Making the pasta was also a bit hard because you had to make sure the pasta and the other ingredients were cooked.  Next time I go to food tech, I want to make brownies.

Cause and Effect - Building Background

This game is called Building Background.  In this game you have to match the cause to the correct effect.  I got all correct in this game by reading the causes and looked for the matching sentence.  This game was really easy for me because the causes are next to the correct effects.  In this game there is no score and no lives.  Nextime I play a reading game, I want to learn my verbs and adverbs.

Division Game - Snowy's Friend

This game is called Snowy’s Friend.  In this game you have to find the right items for Snowy’s friend by answering the division sums.  The answer to this sum is 4 because I used my 5 timetables and 5x4=20.  If you get a sum wrong, you will lose lives.  This game was very easy for me because I know my 5x tables.  Next time I play math games, I want to learn my multiplication facts.

Dental Techniques

This is a picture of some baby teeth.  It was made with 2 slices of apples and 4 pink marshmallows.  This was pretty hard to make but my group managed to make it.  We used scissors instead of knives because scissors were easier to cut with.  After we made this, my group shared the teeth and ate it.    

Teeth Poem

Incisors slice the food you eat,

Always eat food on a seat.

Canines tear food like a dog,

Teeth in your mouth work like a machines cog.

Premolars crunch and grind,

When you take it out your teeth become kind.

Molars are big and strong,

So strong they are like King - Kong.

Brush your teeth twice a day,

So when your friends walk say hey.

Floss your teeth after you brush,

So your teeth can say shush.

Taking care of your teeth is important,

because losing your teeth is so unimportant.

Cause and Effect

This game is called Cause and Effect.  In this game you have to match the ice cream topping with the cones.  Each ice cream topping has a sentence that matches a cone.  My high score on this game was 103.  In this game I got a A+ and 0 incorrect answers.  This game was really easy for me.  Next time I play a reading game, I want to learn my spelling and comprehension.

Reflection - Basic Facts

In this test, I am good at place value, arranging numbers from big to small, writing numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  To make myself get 100% on basic facts I need to learn the place value of 5 and 6 digit numbers, multiplication facts and division at home and school.  To get better at these subjects, I need to learn with someone who knows these subjects.  I will have to learn the subjects 2 times a day for 30 minutes.

Multiplication Game

This game is called Chopper Challenge.  In this game you have to deliver the package to the correct answer.  The package has a multiplication sum on it.  My high score on in this game was 7172.  Next time I play this game, I want to get a higher score.  Next time I would like to learn my LCM and HCM.  

Grammar - Quiz Questions

This game is called Quiz Questions.  In this game you have to read the story and answer the question.  The answer to this question is B.  I got the answer by reading the story.  At the end you will see the answer you got correct and the answers you got wrong.  If you got the answers wrong, the correct and will be next to the answer you clicked on.  Next time I play reading games, I want to practise my comprehension.
