This game is called Mathletics. This game is a number 1 maths site in New Zealand. In this game, you can connect to other schools or connect with your friends and answer the sums on the top of the screen. I connected with other schools. At the start I got 12 - 7 =. The answer to this sum is 5. I really like playing Mathletics because you get to learn lots of math subjects like timetables and division. I would like to play more games like this. This is the link to the game if you want to play it:

Alfonso Baking Muffins
Yesterday, Alfonso came to our school for our new topic study. Our new topic was muffins. Alfonso is a chef and the father of Manualla. She is in room 1. When Alfonso came to our school, he first told us about muffins and how to make them. After that Alfonso showed us the ingredients. Savoury muffins contain vegetables and meat while sweet muffins contain chocolate, berries and other sweet things. Alfonso made some sweet muffins just to show us how you can make it. The sweet muffins were only for demonstration but the teachers could eat some because the muffins were baked and sent to the staffroom. I wish I was a teacher when that happend because I would like to eat one of his muffins.

Fraction Models
This game is called Fraction Models. In this game, you can make your own fraction and figure out what it is. You can choose how many lines on the fraction you want. I chose 3 lines and made into a quarter fraction. Then you can click on the fraction to make some parts of the fraction shaded. I made the fraction into 2/4. At the right corner you can change the mode to Length, Area, Region and Set. I think this game would be good for kids who are learning their fractions. I would like to learn more about LCM.

Ifa helped me make the Sweet and Sour rice and clean the dishes. I will like to make more food like this because I always eat rice in my house and I want to make this at home so my family can enjoy what I made.

Fraction Monkeys
This game is called Fraction Monkeys. In this game you have to match the monkey with the fractions on the number line. 1/2 is the same as 2/4 because 2 is half of 4 so I would have matched 1/2 with 2/4. I found this game a bit challenging because every level you complete gets harder so it gets more challenging. This game is very good because you can learn more things about fractions. I would like to learn more about the square root of numbers. This is the link to the game:

Robin Williams
Robin Williams was a funny actor, good comedian and a good father. I have watched many movies he starred in and they were funny. I have seen Mad Dogs, Old Dogs and Mrs Doubtfire. I also watched Night In the Museum. I loved his acting in that movie because he said funny things in the movie. I also liked Robots. It is sad because he was a good comedian and he committed suicide yesterday. He killed himself because he was depressed and there is always a dark side in comedy. I remembered him best in Night At The Museum. His role in that movie was Theodore Roosevelt. He was the guy on the horse every time the moon shines on the Museum. I think Robin Williams was a funny and good actor and dad.

Bamzooki Basic Fractions
This game is called Bamzooki Basic Fractions. In this game you have to move the Bamzooki to the correct fractions. If the circle has three parts shaded, there is 1 part that is not shaded so that means that the answer is 3/4. This game was really easy for me but in this game it has a time limit which makes it harder to get points. I would like to learn about more fractions in games like this one.

What I think New Zealand did in the Commonwealth Games
I think that New Zealand did well in the Commonwealth Games because they came 6th with 45 medals. Even though they got less than England and Australia, New Zealand still might come 4th or better in the Olympics or the next Commonwealth Games. New Zealand has a good Shot Putt athlete, Valerie Adams. New Zealand also won many medals in cycling. England may have came first with 174 medals, New Zealand came first in the population. If there is a huge place with many people, you will have less chance of getting a medal but when there is a huge place with small amount of people, you have a chance of getting medal.

Fractions as parts of a set
Today in this game I am learning to find a fraction of a set. In this game, you have to match the word fraction to the shape fraction. If 1/3 is selected you have to try and match it with the drawn fraction. This game was really easy for me because I know these fractions because they are easy fractions. The next fraction game I want t play, must be harder for me so I can get a better knowledge for fractions.
