I think that New Zealand did well in the Commonwealth Games because they came 6th with 45 medals. Even though they got less than England and Australia, New Zealand still might come 4th or better in the Olympics or the next Commonwealth Games. New Zealand has a good Shot Putt athlete, Valerie Adams. New Zealand also won many medals in cycling. England may have came first with 174 medals, New Zealand came first in the population. If there is a huge place with many people, you will have less chance of getting a medal but when there is a huge place with small amount of people, you have a chance of getting medal.

This is a very interesting paragraph about the Commonwealth Games. I think that NZ best athlete is Valerie Adams too. I also did one like this. Would you like to be an athlete in the Commonwealth Games? Good work.
