Decimat Place Value

WALT: understand place value in decimals using decimats.

First picture divided into Tenths.

Second picture divided into Hundredths.

Third picture divided into Thousandths.

The game we played we quite easy.  If the person rolled a four on the first dice.  Then when your roll the second dice and you get a tenth, you have to colour in four tenths of the decimat.  In the game, you also have to use different colours if you have to colour the same decimat.  For example, if you used red to colour the tenths decimat, you have to use a different colour to colour in the tenths decimat.  The game helped me a lot because I learned what decimat to colour in when the dice was rolled.  It was very fun to learn and fun to play.
