WALT: write a narrative with focus on a powerful introduction.
“The Shoplifter?” asked a young child. An old man and his grandson were talking about The Shoplifter.
“Yes Michael, The Shoplifter.” “I will tell you all about this Shoplifter.” “He was a never caught thief that always steals from the shopping malls.” told the old man. This story goes all the way back to when there was no internet and when everything was old styled.
There was a man called Talon Blige. This man was not like everyone else. In fact when he was a youngster, he was very very naughty. Talon did not have a mother or father so he was raised in the streets. He learned from the cruel things that happened on the streets. At the age of sixteen, he saw a man stealing bread from a bakery. When the man went out onto the streets, he was caught by the manager and was put into a police car. Talon watched as he tried to steal some bread. Then when he was 18, he started his first burglary. He waited for the people to turn their back and quickly grabbed a loaf of bread and ran out of the bakery. It was just moments after the bakers noticed the missing loaf of bread.
When he was twenty five years old, a big shopping mall opened. Then there was electricity. Talon saw electricity for the first time. He knew there would be a huge amount of cash in the shopping mall so he waited for days to past. One week passed and he was ready to steal from the shopping mall. He stayed on the streets until it was dark. Talon then put some black clothes on and a balaclava he made from black cloth. Talon quickly ran to the shopping mall. The shopping mall was about to close so he ran into the mall like a shadow. His first time in a shopping was an exciting discovery. There was food everywhere. He then focused on the money in the mall. There were guards that take care of the mall everyday. Talon ran to each wall hoping the guards wouldn't notice him. Then he was just 10 steps away from the safe. The safe was guarded by a code. He managed to crack the code and then.........”Safe Unlocked” said the system loudly.
Talon heard people running to the place he was so he quickly grabbed some money. He took one step and then he saw light shining on him. The guards found Talon. Talon quickly tried to escape but the guards grabbed him. The guards got the money he took and Talon was quickly rushed Talon to a police car a took off. Talon was charged guilty and was put into prison for 3 years. 3 years after something happened. When Talon was put into the courtroom, the judge looked at some of his files and the judge paused for a minute.
It was like he recognised Talon. The judge also had a wife. Talon had the judge’s wife’s blue eyes. Talon also looked a little bit like the judge. “Talon?” questioned the judge. “Talon, is that you?” Talon then was released from his cuffs and walked closer to the judge. Is this the father of Talon? After a few days, Talon was released. He now was given money and a place to live in.
“That is the story of Talon” told the old man. The old man had the same blue eyes as Talon. He was happy he told Michael about Talon.
“Hey grandpa, what is your name?”
“My name is Talon Blige.” Michael smiled and went to sleep.

Bula Vinaka Samuel.
your narrative is very interesting. I like how you made up those cool names. I also made a narrative but my title was "skinnies vs fatties". How did you come up with those names?
